Cross Country to Feed The Homeless

Join us on this year's
 Hunger Travel's Journey

A combo of driving and flying throughout the year, across the United States to feed homeless Americans by distributing care packages consisting of ready to eat foods, beverages, fresh fruit, hand wipes, and basic toiletries, all while learning their stories.

I ask from everyone who visits this page, if you have ideas- please feel free to share them!
I am open to suggestions, comments, concerns, and questions.

If you work for a company that is able to donate products to be ditributed- I'd have to say "Awesome!!" we'll figure out a way to get them from you.

Don't want to contribute, but want to follow our journey, that's ok too.

Want to get involved along the way- send me an email  to
kschnorrbusch@yahoo.com, and we'll make it happen!

Want to make a donation- we love support-  visit our online campaign at WePay to learn more. All contributors will be listed on our website page "Contributors".

Every donation makes a difference and funds will be spent wisely -
with coupons- to ensure more use out of each donated dollar.

Thanks so much for your interest in this project.
We love supporters, it feels good to have others rooting for us!!
We find it motivational and it encourages us to keep on going to help more and more!!

 THE STORY BEGINS....
The trip was scheduled to begin at the end of June 2012 and continue until the beginning of September 2012, but we changed it! Instead it began earlier, in February, and is continuing on throughout the year. Starting from New Jersey and going as far as California and covering everywhere in between with a combo if driving and flying to destinations.

On a recent trip to California a decision was made to spend some time hitting the streets and learning stories. Like they say- no better time than the present to accomplish something. So I did just that, after spending about $40 on water, packaged snacks, and hand wipes, I bagged them up, and went in search of people to help. Feeling motivated, I buckled up, pulled the car out of the spot, and didn't even make it out of the parking lot. I have found my first story.......
